FRITZ!Box keeps you connected even during vacation
Even with vacation season upon us, the constant barrage of incoming calls and e-mails remains as merciless as ever. This time of year you want to be able to enjoy your break while keeping connected and in control. FRITZ!Box allows you to redirect, filter and prioritize incoming correspondence and more, enabling you to keep things running smoothly from the comfort of your vacation destination.
Don’t miss a call with flexible call forwarding
With the built-in PBX features of the FRITZ!Box series, you can forward incoming calls to any number and receive them while you’re on the move. These calls can also be filtered and night service settings can be applied when calls are forwarded, so you won’t miss any. This sophisticated PBX functionality allows you to have total control of calls while you’re away.
Voicemail and fax forwarding to your e-mail
Calling to receive voice messages from overseas can be costly. The FRITZ!Box allows all voicemail and fax messages to be forwarded to your e-mail account in real time as WAV files and PDF documents. With this in place and a phone with connectivity, all you need to check is your inbox to keep on top of things while sunbathing poolside.
Access your files and FRITZ!Box configuration from anywhere
The VPN capabilities of the FRITZ!Box allow full access to all devices in a home network. With the secure VPN connection you can access any files from your PC, USB drive or network-attached storage via the Internet. If you’re online in an Internet café, you can also access your USB storage drive via the file transport protocol. To use remote access, VPN or configure your FRITZ!Box as an FTP server, you can use a dynamic DNS service such as dyndns.org in order to locate the IP address of your FRITZ!Box online.
Wireless freedom at home
For those spending some vacation time at home, wireless networking with FRITZ!Box is fast, safe and easy to set up. The FRITZ!Box has an integrated media streaming service via Universal Plug & Play (UPnP), allowing you to stream any multimedia files to wired or wireless devices, which means you can access entertainment from anywhere in the building.
