Small but powerful: For people who want to extend the range of their WLAN signal, the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater N/G is the ultimate solution. Plugged into a power socket, the little device repeats the WLAN signal even to distant areas such as remote rooms, the garden or the patio. What is more, the repeater transmits your music via cable or its built-in FM transmitter to any other device such as your hi-fi stereo or a common radio.

Stay connected in every corner

With AVM’s WLAN Repeater, any WLAN network can be extended in no time. All it needs is a free power socket within range of the router. In connection with AVM’s FRITZ!Box, setup is quick and easy via the repeater’s touch-sensitive LED screen or via a browser interface by typing ‘fritz.repeater’ in the address field. But the device also works with other routers. If no client is connected to the repeater, the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater N/G automatically reduces the WLAN signal power to a minimum. Connected to a FRITZ!Box, the WLAN can be programmed to turn on or off at specific times, for instance, to save power during the night. The repeater supports all common WLAN standards such as 802.11n, g, b and a, as well as both the 2.4 and the 5-GHz frequency bands.

Have your own radio station

One distinctive feature of the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater is its built-in FM transmitter, enabling you to send any music or other audio to your existing hi-fi system or other radios in your household. This way, you can listen everywhere to your MP3 collection stored on a network computer or NAS. The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater also has digital (S/P-DIF) and analog 3.5-mm audio ouputs (like an earphone plug) to connect the repeater directly to your stereo or hi-fi system.
