With the FRITZ!App, it is extremely easy to use your smartphone as an IP telephone to make calls via your FRITZ!Box. Once the app is launched, it connects to the FRITZ!Box via the WLAN network and is active in the background. The popular FRITZ!App Fon is compatible with international FRITZ!Box models.

Make calls with your smartphone over the WLAN network

With the FRITZ!App, you can receive calls on your smartphone from the mobile network and from the FRITZ!Box. Making outgoing calls via the FRITZ!Box is just as simple – for example, to take advantage of cheaper fixed-line rates or to check messages left on your answering machine.

Because the FRITZ!App operates in the background, you can make calls with your smartphone quickly, directly over the WLAN network of the FRITZ!Box – and all with the comforts of your smartphone, including your address book and call list. Once FRITZ!App Fon is installed and configured, you can make calls as usual with supported smartphones connected to your FRITZ!Box.
